Wind, coming forth from the fire, the 2^nd active principle.

Carrying it in its belly.

Sol moves through the chaos, harvesting chaos, taking it within self. Creating a blackness within its being. The tail forms.

Water forms from the tail, an imperfection reflection of self, with light reflecting in the dark(Moon) and the dark within the light(Sun).

The encompassing of the other 3 elements formed together, the Spirituous Earth. ???

Traditionally Aquarius is of the Air element and Scorpio of the Water element. * As Aquarius is associated with the Water bearer, which pours water, and Scorpio is associated with the Eagle, which flys in Air, they are switched. It also makes the order going clockwise of the Zodiac(Fire-Air-Water-Earth) which corresponds with the order of the Elements.  George Ripleys 12 gates which seems may correspond to the 12 signs of the zodiac, says to rotate the elements.
Scorpio is sometimes referred to as the Eagle, or Phoenix(Rebirth).  Born again, or skipping Earth, Fire to Water then rebirth maybe...

Those which follow unto Cancer make the Work White, Cancer addeth the greatest whiteness and splendour, and doth perfectly fill up all the days of the Stone, or white Sulphur, or the Lunar work of Sulphur; Luna sitting and reigning gloriously in her House, In Leo, the Regal Mansion of the Sun, the Solar work begins, which in Libra is terminated into a Ruby Stone or perfect Sulphur. As revived, the dance is performed by pairs of boys and girls(6 each) (or men and women) who stand alternately around the base of the pole, each holding the end of a ribbon. They weave in and around each other, boys going one way and girls going the other and the ribbons are woven together around the pole until the merry-makers meet at the base. There are also more complex dances for set numbers of (practised) dancers, (the May Queen dancing troupes), involving complicated weaves and unweaves, but they are not well known today. However, such dances are performed every Mayday around the permanent Maypole at Offenham, in Worcestershire.
